If you don't wish or aren't able to participate in the obstacle course, but want to contribute, you can donate as well.

If you are interested in being a sponsor and/or donating food or beverages for the participants and volunteers, please contact Justin at [email protected] or 651-371-9919. One of the goals is minimizing event costs in order to maximize charitable funds. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Why This Event Matters

There aren't many opportunities where you get to participate in a military-grade obstacle course while honoring two great heroes like Josh and Hunter.

This event is being held to help build stronger community partnerships between law enforcement officers and the general public. This year we are honoring the lives of Deputy Josh Owen and Officer Hunter Scheel.

Josh Owen (44) was a Pope County Deputy for nearly 12 years. Josh was also a Minnesota National Guard Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran.

Josh had a strong, calming presence that knew how to have fun. Josh was selfless and would help anyone who asked, and he sought out those who haven’t even asked yet

Josh is survived by his wife Shannon and son Rylan.

Hunter (23) was a Patrol Officer for Cameron (WI) Police Department was also a United States Army National Guard Operation Enduring Freedom veteran.

Hunter loved fishing, hunting, and hockey. He had an “old soul” and found happiness and peace in simple things.

He is survived by his mother, stepfather, father, and three sisters.
